LAHORE: Around 450 Sikh pilgrims arrived here on Tuesday through Wagah border to observe the 183rd death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
They were received by Deputy Secretary (shrines) Imran Gondal, Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee chief Sardar Ameer Singh and Evacuee Trust Property Board officials.
During their stay from June 21 to 30, the Sikh pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hasanabdal, Sacha Sauda, Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore.
The main ceremony in this regard will be held at Gurdwara Dera Sahib on June 29.
