With its one-shoulder silhouette, cinched waist, and romantic flowing skirt, Kate’s dress drew immediate comparisons to Hathaway’s earlier show-stopper – although hers was by Valentino.
Although the story didn’t end there. In 2023, Kate repurposed the same gown for another BAFTA appearance, this time styling it with bold black opera gloves and statement earrings.
The refreshed look gave the dress a modern twist which brought an even closer resemblance to Hathaway’s unforgettable ensemble.
