Kate arrived wearing a red Catherine Walker coat and earrings owned by the Queen. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be joined by other members of the Royal Family tonight when they kick off the royal festivities with Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, held Westminster Abbey. Royal watchers have taken to social media to admire the couple, @BillyDouglass7 said: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are a big time Power Couple with real influence and prestige!" The festive gathering comes hours after Prince Harry decided to wade into British politics from his home in California. The prince has backed a Tory MP Johnny Mercer's bid to scrap visa fees charged to troops from non-UK nations who want to stay in Britain after serving in the nation's armed forces.
