KUALA TERENGGANU: Some 13,000 Terengganu Health Department staffers have started receiving Covid-19 vaccine booster doses in stages starting yesterday.

       Its director Datuk Dr Kasemani Embong said the booster shots were given to the staffers voluntarily.

       “Most essential is that they have a lapse period of six months after the second dose.

       “Six government hospitals and 20 vaccination centres belonging to the Health Ministry statewide will be involved in the administering of booster doses to health personnel,” he said. — Bernama
