       ROY, the crooner of Ratnaku, is still bedridden after being admitted to a medical centre in Kuala Lumpur more than three weeks ago, Harian Metro reported.

       His wife Linda, 56, otherwise known as Haslinda Abdul Rahman, said her husband needed a few more weeks to recover from his injuries.

       “Roy is still bedridden. He still cannot move his left leg and left hand because of his spinal injury. He has a broken arm, too.

       “He is conscious and can speak. The doctor said it will take between three and six months to recover,” she said.

       Earlier, the daily reported that the 57-year-old singer whose real name is Mohammad Rauzan Alwi, fell while performing wuduk (taking ablution).

       The singer is said to have suffered a crack between the hip bone and injuries to the shoulder.

       Last January, Roy was infected with Category 4 Covid-19 and was admitted to Hospital Sungai Buloh.

       After a week of treatment, he recovered and then continued his routine as a “busker” at a shopping mall in Setiawangsa.

       The couple met through online gaming on social media a year before deciding to get engaged on Oct 9.

       He added that the wedding was a private affair due to the restrictions on the number of guests based on the standard operating procedure.
