THE stepmother of the late Siti Sarah Raissuddin never thought the singer’s hint that she wanted to “rest” at the start of August was a premonition of her death, Harian Metro reported.

Siti Fatimah Suberi, 34, said Siti Sarah had uncannily left hints to those dearest to her before her death.

The puzzle pieces are just coming together now.

Siti Fatimah also revealed that on the day of Siti Sarah’s hospitalisation, she had asked her stepmother to help transfer funds from her personal account to Siti Fatimah’s bank account.

“While waiting for the ambulance to arrive at her house and take her to hospital, Siti Sarah sent me a message asking me to do that and I asked her why.

“She answered that she would be going to the hospital for treatment.

“But before she went into a medically induced coma, she asked me to donate the RM30,000 that was transferred into my account,” Siti Fatimah said.

“Alhamdulillah (thanks be to God), I have carried out the task. She wished for the money to be donated to those in need,” she said.

Siti Fatimah added that in May, Siti Sarah, who was the face of three products, had confided in her that she also wished to find a new face to replace her.

Siti Sarah, 36, died on Aug 9 due to Covid-19 complications days after giving birth to her fourth child via Caesarean.

       > A lovelorn man from Kedah who was pining for his girlfriend in Penang flouted Covid-19 SOP by illegally crossing state lines to meet her.

The reunion was shortlived as religious authorities arrested them for being in close proximity as they were unmarried, Kosmo! reported.Enforcement officers from the Kulim district religious office (PADK) detained the 22-year-old man, who worked at a chicken processing factory, and his lover, a 17-year-old girl, at a house around 1am following complaints by the public.

The couple had just gotten to know each other over WhatsApp a week earlier after meeting at an eatery.

PADK enforcement officer Anwar Shariffudin Mat Saad said they received a tip and went to the house to check. The man answered the door fully clothed.

“We informed him of our purpose and upon further checks in the house, we found a teenage girl,” he said.

He added that when she was discovered, the teenager, who is a school dropout, was hiding in the bathroom, unclothed.

Anwar said the man, who claimed to be fully vaccinated, had used an alternative route to cross state lines to pick up the teenager who lives in Juru, about 18km from the village where they were discovered. The case is being investigated under Section 25(a)(b) of the Kedah State Syariah Criminal Offences Enactment 2014.
