SINGER Fazli Zainal lost 10kg in his fight against Covid-19 but is otherwise recovering well after his discharge from hospital, Harian Metro reported.
"Thank God I am free from Covid-19 and could return home. Now, I focus on the recovery process.
"While in hospital, my weight went from 78kg to 68kg.
"Even though my lungs were damaged by 75% and need time to heal, my voice is still fine and not hoarse. However, I have to watch my diet," said the 29-year-old.
The daily also reported that he keeps an oxygen tank on standby at home.
"This oxygen supply is only for emergency use," said Fazli, adding that he has been able to breathe normally on his own so far.
Fazli, who has had his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, was admitted to Ampang Hospital in Kuala Lumpur on July 31 when his oxygen level dipped by 75% while being quarantined at home after being infected, according to the daily.
Meanwhile, the singer has launched his new album Mantan Yang Terluka, a collaboration with composer Ajai and lyricist Ahmad Fedtri Yahya, online.

> Mussel breeders at Pangkalan Nelayan Telok Sinting in Pasir Panjang, Negri Sembilan, have had an unexpected harvest due to the change in weather, Utusan Malaysia also reported.
"The sometimes wet and sometimes dry weather led to our mussels breeding more. If the weather is too hot, the growth of the mussels can be stunted," said Mohd Hairel Mohd Rashid, 29.
"In a week, we can now get 40kg to 50kg of mussels a day,” he said.
Mohd Hairel added that Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan in the state has also seen an increased demand for mussels from the restaurants in Port Dickson, which can now open for dining-in.
"Tourists from other areas are returning to Port Dickson and they want fresh mussels,” he said, adding that there are about 20 mussel breeders around Telok Sinting.
