During the Royally Obsessed podcast, Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito discussed the impact of England's devasting defeat on penalties to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Prince George who watched on as the drama unfolded at Wembley. Ms Bowie stated that Prince George will carry the "deep wound" of England's loss with him and added the young royal was heartbroken.

Ms Fiorioto said: The pictures [of George] when it was obvious that England were going to lose and they are all holding each other, it was so sweet."

"If and when they make it back to a moment like that it will be a deep wound.

"We have all gone through that with sports teams we love."
