PETALING JAYA: Duopharma Biotech Bhd posted a 4.5% year-on-year (y-o-y)growth in net profit to RM15.4mil while revenue grew 8.45% to RM155.4mil for its second quarter ended June 30, 2021, supported by higher sales to the consumer healthcare and public health sector.

       For the first half, net profit grew 16.7% y-o-y to RM33mil while revenue was 6.6% higher to RM321.9mil. The group has declared a first interim single-tier dividend of 0.5 sen per share.

       “We are cautiously optimistic about our outlook,” group managing director Leonard Ariff Abdul Shatar (pic below) said in a statement.
