PETALING JAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has listed names of several businessmen whom he claimed were found in the Pandora Papers but were not investigated.

       The former premier said that without any evidence, all allegations are only mere accusations.

       "That is reformasi (reformation)," said Dr Mahathir in a post on X on Friday (Jan 19).

       He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's accusations still lacked evidence despite a year having passed.

       "Anwar accused me of making billions of ringgit by abusing my power while I was prime minister.

       "I asked for proof of this, but Anwar did not provide any evidence.

       "I sued him for defamation and requested the evidence be presented in court.

       "A year has passed, and still no evidence has been shown.

       "The evidence is said to be with PETRONAS, which is under Anwar," said Dr Mahathir in the post Friday (Jan 19).

       He added that instead, his son (Mirzan) had been threatened with imprisonment.

       "My son was threatened that if he does anything related to the allegation, he will be imprisoned for five years.

       "No mention of whether it will be brought to court.

       "When being in government and in power, the behaviour is worse with cruelty towards political enemies.

       "If you support, you become a friend. Even court proceedings can be stopped," Dr Mahathir said in his post.

       He also listed a series of names of those whose charges have been dropped due to their support of the government.
