       KUWAIT CITY, Dec 1: The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), Talal Fahd Al-Daihani, announced the end of the ‘mead’ fishing season citing decision No. 846 of 2021 of PAAAFR, reports Al- Qabas daily. According to the decision, Al-Daihani stressed mead fishing is allowed from June 15 to Nov 30 of each year.

       He added, the decisions issued by the authority to regulate fishing inside Kuwait’s territorial waters have achieved positive, tangible results in terms of preserving fish wealth and called on fishermen, seagoers and enthusiasts to abide by the PAAAFR fishing laws. He said that the authority’s decisions to ban or allow fishing come after studying the factors affecting the deterioration of fish wealth and ways to preserve it by taking necessary measures to develop the fish stock and preserve it from dwindling.
