PETALING JAYA: Pertama Digital Bhd’s subsidiary, Television Airtime Services Sdn Bhd (TAS), has completed the acquisition of a further 24% in government technology software company DAPAT Vista (M) Sdn Bhd (Dapat).

       In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the acquisition was via a contractual option it exercised from Heitech Padu Bhd.

       The completion of the acquisition brings TAS’ stake in Dapat to 80%.

       Through Pertama Digital’s 51% equity interest in TAS, Pertama Digital has an effective interest of about 41% in Dapat.

       It said the acquisition enabled a consolidation of a larger contribution to the bottom line of Pertama Digital.

       Pertama Digital’s consortium also recently applied for a digital banking licence from Bank Negara.
