PETALING JAYA: Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM (HCTM UKM) has denied allegations being spread via WhatsApp that its emergency department is short of personal protective equipment (PPE).

       “PPE supplies are sufficient and the emergency department is among the departments given priority,” it said in a statement.

       The hospital also said that PPE usage among medical frontliners was in line with Health Ministry standard operating procedure.

       “As such, HCTM UKM denies there is a lack of PPEs as alleged,” it added.
