KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai has tendered his resignation as Tropicana Corp Bhd chairman.

       “Lim has tendered his resignation in view of his other commitments,” Tropicana said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

       Currently, Lim holds 162.2 million ordinary shares (direct interest) in Tropicana.

       Lim was appointed as the deputy chairman, non-independent non-executive director of Tropicana on Oct 24, 2017. He was re-designated as the chairman on Jan 24, 2019.
