PETALING JAYA: The death of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) student Vinosiny Sivakumar is still under investigation, says Dr Noraini Ahmad.
The Higher Education Minister said the ministry is waiting for a full lab report on the actual cause of the 21-year-old's death.

"There are at least three reports – from the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, the Malaysian Chemistry Department and the Royal Malaysia Police – needed to complete a detailed investigation.
"UUM has also given its commitment to the ministry to provide full cooperation with the relevant parties so that a transparent investigation can be carried out properly.
"We hope that all parties involved will be patient and wait for the investigation results," she said in a statement on Thursday (May 26).
Noraini offered her condolences to the Bachelor of Accounting (Information Systems) student's family.
On Monday (May 23), the second year accounting student was found dead in her hostel room.
A video uploaded to YouTube alleged she had died from an electric shock.
Kubang Pasu district police chief Supt Rodzi Abu Hassan said the police have classified the case as sudden death.
