KUCHING: The Election Commission (EC) will meet here on Nov 24 to discuss the date of the Sarawak state election.

       EC secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak said the special meeting will be led by its chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh.

       “(The meeting) will discuss important dates such as nomination and polling days, the electoral roll and other preparations (for) the state election,” he said in a statement yesterday.

       He added that a press conference is scheduled to be held immediately after the meeting.
