       KUWAIT CITY, Jul 22: Kuwait beaches attracted thousands of Kuwaitis and expats who were unable to travel during Eid al Adha holidays despite of high temperatures and humidity. Effects of high temperature were clearly visible on beachgoers during the morning period as most of them who had no beach umbrellas were protecting themselves from direct sunlight under the shade of trees.

       Most beachgoers, especially families were found heading to the beaches of Kuwait after 4 pm due to high temperatures in the mornings, reports Al Rai. Many beachgoers stated that they have no alternative but to come to the beach as prices are very high for chalets and hotels which are sea facing. There is a need for family beaches or a reserve area for families as bachelors crowd around and mix along with the families who have come to spend pleasant time on the beach and keep social distance.

       An Indian expatriate who had come to the beach with his family stated that since most of the recreation areas are shut, the beach is the only entertainment they have to pass their time. He stated that bachelors who come have no sense of responsibility for cleanliness.
