KUALA LUMPUR: The missing 17-year-old boy who was found here last week on Jan 11 did not show any sign that he was sodomised, say police.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said that a medical examination showed no signs of physical injury or sodomy.

"Our investigations showed that the victim stayed with the suspect, who has since been arrested, for 10 days at the hotel," he said, adding that the suspect did not go further than molesting the teenager.

He added that the suspect would be charged under the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 for physical sexual assault on a child.

On Thursday (Jan 18), the victim's younger 16-year-old brother was found after a homeless man took him to a police station.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said the victim was brought to the Hulu Bernam police station at 10.48am.

The two brothers went missing on the way home after morning prayers near Taman Bernam Jaya.

The older brother was found on Jan 11 near the Pasar Seni LRT station and made a report the following day stating that he had been sexually assaulted.

Comm Allaudeen on Wednesday said that the police had arrested a 42-year-old man in front of a hotel in Jalan Sultan.
