COPS have launched an investigation after a woman in her 80s died in a house fire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in Welland Close, Slough, at around 6pm on Saturday as a blaze ripped through the property.

Two people were rescued from the house as firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 30s also suffered minor injuries, but did not require treatment in hospital.
The fire is not believed to be suspicious at this time, police have said.
Inspector Ryan Powell, based at Slough police station, said: “Firstly, our thoughts and condolences are with the victim’s loved ones during this extremely difficult time.

"Our investigation, alongside the fire service, is in its early stages but the fire is not deemed to be suspicious at this time.
"But, our officers and the fire service will be at the scene for some time while our investigation progresses.
"There is no risk to other houses or individuals but anyone with concerns is welcome to speak to one of our uniformed officers."
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police added: "Thames Valley Police has launched an investigation after a woman sadly died in a house fire in Slough today.

"Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service notified the force of a fire at an address in Welland Close at around 6pm.
"The fire has been extinguished but two people were inside the property, including a woman in her eighties, who sadly died at scene.
"Her next of kin have been informed and have been offered support.
"The other person was a man in his thirties, who suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment."
