Beatrice, who is expecting her first child with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, attended the Ambassador Theatre Group's summer party at Kensington Palace. The pregnant royal was pictured being driven into the palace in a black Range Rover.

       Beatrice, who is expecting her royal baby in the autumn, glowed as she sat in the passenger seat.

       She wore a black outfit which she completed with a glamorous pearl headband.

       Beatrice had her hair down and added a touch of smokey eye makeup.

       The royal and Edo are expecting their tot in the coming months.

       Beatrice showed off her blossoming bump during an outing in London with her husband last month.

       She also revealed her blooming bump as she attended Wimbledon in July.

       When Beatrice's pregnancy was announced, Buckingham Palace said the baby was due in the autumn.

       The palace said the couple were "very pleased" to be welcoming their first child.

       It added: "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

       Beatrice is already stepmother to Edo's young son Wolfie, from his previous relationship with his ex-fiancee Dara Huang, who she recently referred to as her "bonus son".

       Her younger sister Princess Eugenie gave birth to her first child, August, earlier this year.

       The sisters will be delighted to have their children so close together in age and to share the experience of being first-time mothers.

       Beatrice and Edo are welcoming their royal baby after marrying in a secret lockdown wedding last year.

       The Queen was among guests at the low-key ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor in July 2020.

       The couple announced their engagement in September 2019 following a whirlwind romance.

       Their families have known one another for years and they began dating in autumn 2018 after meeting again at Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding.

       It has been a bumper year for royal babies.

       Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed their third child, Lucas, in March.

       Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who quit royal duties for a new life in California, had daughter Lili in June.
