ACTOR Hun Haqeem studied K-pop stars and their style in fleshing out his role in his latest drama, Ulya & Dini, Berita Harian reported.

He said he was not trying to imitate them, but they were his source of inspiration, adding that he was also captivated by the cinematography of a Korean series he had watched on Netflix.

The Malay-Chinese actor said that his character, Dini, was a “bad boy” who was lacking in emotion.

Hun, whose real name is Haqeem Hermy, said K-pop stars were his reference point, adding that he longed to play “heavier roles” in the future.

“If given the chance, I want to try acting in a psychological thriller,” said Hun, 24.

“Right now, I haven’t had the chance to break into the silver screen as most films have been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he added.

       > An entrepreneur learned the hard way that his 24 years’ experience is not a guarantee for success.

“I made the wrong investment and bought the wrong asset,” Nordin Mat told Kosmo!.

Furthermore, he said Covid-19 movement restrictions had affected his plans and he ended up in debt.

To start afresh, the former geologist sold all his businesses and ran a burger joint, which was not easy either.

“Of the 20 stalls, only three remained while the rest failed,” he lamented.
