IPOH: Police have arrested a Bangladeshi man in connection with the murder of his compatriot in Sitiawan, Manjung last Monday (May 2).
Manjung OCPD Asst Comm Nor Omar Sappi said the 25-year-old suspect was arrested at a car wash in the Sitiawan area at about 12.50am on Sunday (May 8).
"We also confiscated what we believe to be the weapon that was used to stab the deceased," he said in a statement.

ACP Nor Omar said the suspect has been remanded until Saturday (May 14) to facilitate investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
On Saturday (May 7), police reported that they were tracking down a suspect in connection with a murder that occurred after a fight on the rooftop of a Sitiawan shophouse last week. – Bernama
