KUALA LUMPUR: Umno’s three wings - Youth, Wanita and Puteri - will hold their respective meetings on Thursday (March 17).

       The meetings will begin with speeches by the leaders of the three wings; Youth by Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, Wanita by Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad and Puteri by Datuk Zarida Zarikh Khan.

       Once the speeches have concluded, the meetings will proceed with debates by the delegates.

       The meetings of the wings were opened by Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan on Wednesday (March 16) night.

       A total of 971 delegates will be attending the Youth meeting, while 959 and 961 delegates will be attending the meetings of the Wanita and Puteri wings.

       In December last year, Umno decided to postpone its general assembly, originally scheduled to be held from Jan 13-15, following massive floods in many parts of the country.
