KUALA LUMPUR: Thirteen localities in Kuantan, Pahang will be under the enhanced movement control order (MCO) from July 18 until 31.
Several areas in Selangor, Sabah and Sarawak will also be under enhanced MCO during the same period.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said for Kuantan, the localities involved are Tanjung Lumpur, Peramu, Anak Air, Sg Derhaka, Kempadang, Sg Soi, Kg Pahang, Taman Seri Inderapura, Taman Indera Sempurna, Taman Tas & Pandan, Sungai Isap, Lorong Seri Teruntum and Taman Impianku.
"Elsewhere in Pahang, the enhanced MCO has also been imposed at Taman Chengal in Temerloh," he said in a statement on Friday (July 16).
For Selangor, Ismail Sabri said the localities involved are Damai Apartment in Damansara, Jalan Pandan Indah in Ampang, Jalan Batu Nilam, Bandar Bukit Tinggi in Klang and Taman Samudera in Batu.
"For Sabah, the localities are Ladang Sawit KLK Lungmanis and factory quarters in Silabukan, Lahad Datu, Kg Pinolobuh Bukid in Kota Belud and Taman Ehsan People's Housing Project (PPR) in Kudah.
"Meanwhile, the enhanced MCO has been imposed at three localities in Kuching, Sarawak. The areas are Kg Seratau, Kg Astana Lot and Kg Sungai Bedil Besar," he said.
Ismail Sabri said the decision to impose the enhanced MCO at the localities are based on risk assessment and infection trend conducted by the Health Ministry.
