Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, a professional snake-catching service based in Queensland, Australia, uploaded the brainteaser to their Facebook page.

The snake specialists explained the pair of reptiles had been spotted "basking in the sun right next to each other" by one of their experts, Dave.

As part of their weekly game of 'Spot the Snake Sunday', they challenged Facebook users to find the camouflaged serpents amongst the long grass.

But the image had some people worried about their vision as they were unable to locate it amongst the greenery.

The team wrote in a post: "Today we are making it a little bit more challenging.

"Not only do you have to spot all the snakes but you have to name the species. Both photos were taken on the Sunshine Coast.

Both species are venomous and are named after their appearances.

The rough-scaled snake can grow up to 2.2 foot in length and are typically found rom mid-eastern New South Wales to the tip of far-north Queensland.

They can even climb trees in pursuit of their prey and are highly venomous reptiles that will administer a fatal bite when attacked or handled.

The red-bellied black snake surpasses its fellow reptile in length, as it can grow up to 4.1 feet, and the species are native to the east coast of Australia.

Its venom can cause significant illness rather than death, with their favored prey being frogs, fish, reptiles, and small mammals.
