SERDANG: A furniture shop worker was found murdered at a house in Taman Serdang Utama here.

       Serdang OCPD Asst Com AA Anbalagan said the 43-year-old victim was found in a room at the house lying face down with bloody wounds to his head and body at 6.07pm on Saturday (Oct 9).

       "There were slash wounds to his head, right ribs, back and hands.

       "The victim had been renting the room for the past five years," he said when contacted Sunday (Oct 10).

       The house where the victim was found consisted of several rooms separated by partitions that were rented out, he added.

       "So far there are no witnesses to the murder.

       "We urge those with information to contact the nearest police station as soon as possible," he added.
