SERDANG: The suspect wanted in the murder of a 29-year-old woman, here, has been arrested after he surrendered himself to the police.

       Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said that the 33-year-old lorry driver gave himself up at the Serdang police headquarters at 11.30am on Sunday (Feb 20).

       The suspect was the victim's boyfriend according to the police.

       "Investigations are ongoing to identify a motive and the suspect involved.

       "He confessed to the case and the motive was believed to have been due to jealousy. Investigations are still ongoing," he said in a statement on Sunday.

       On Saturday (Feb 19) night, the victim was found murdered, with her throat slit, in her shop on Jalan SP2/2 Serdang Perdana in Seri Kembangan.
