SERDANG: A man died from stab wounds after being found unconscious in front of a restaurant in Seri Kembangan in what is believed to be an act of revenge.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said the victim was found by a 30-year-old complainant at the restaurant along Jalan BS 6/8.
"The victim was unconscious and suffered stab wounds to the face, neck and hands, leading to his death at the scene.
"A machete is believed to have been used," he said in a statement on Wednesday (April 6).
Earlier, four men in their 30s and 40s were arrested in Jalan Songket, Taman Maznah, in Klang, in suspicion of being involved in the case.
"The suspects are from Seri Kembangan and all have prior police records.
"Preliminary investigation showed that all four had confessed to the crime with the motive behind the murder being revenge," ACP Anbalagan said.
A remand order until April 12 on all four men has been obtained, he added.
The police, he said, had also recovered a car equipped with fake number plates that was believed to have been used during the incident.
