The Duchess recently wowed at an event hosted by the Prince's Trust, keeping to her historically impeccable fashion sense. Meeting with a group of women at Clarence House, she wore an elegant blue and white dress joined by a pair of low heels. Camilla has long worked closely with the trust, her husband, Prince Charles, having founded it in 1976.

Helping young people gain skills and confidence through free courses, it aims to get individuals to start their own businesses and careers.

Over tea with six young women, she spoke with them about their experiences with the trust ahead of the organisation’s Brilliant Breakfast campaign.

Camilla has worked tirelessly in the public realm, readying herself for a life of service at the helm of the Royal Family.

Many have claimed that this work ethic has left the Duchess less than impressed with members who she views as having taken a less hands on approach.

Her relationship with Prince Andrew, Charles' brother, has been closely scrutinised by royal watchers and experts over the years.

When she was unable to attend Princess Eugenie's, Andrew's daughter, royal wedding in 2018 due to a prior engagement, reports of their apparent bad blood surfaced.

A source told Richard Kay, a royal journalist, that the Duchess had not forgotten how Andrew treated her during the difficult years following the sudden death of Princess Diana.

They said: “Camilla has always felt Andrew could have done more.

"The Queen listens to Andrew and he could have helped his brother at a time when he had few allies within the family.

"In fact, I would go so far as to say he was deeply unhelpful when support would have meant a huge amount to her and the Prince.

"Looking back to when there was little public sympathy for Charles and Camilla, if not open hostility, it was a case of Andrew playing politics.

       "Camilla hasn’t forgotten."

However, a friend of the Duchess’ added: "She is fond of Eugenie and her sister Beatrice."

Mr Kay wrote: “I can disclose that Camilla sent a handwritten letter to Eugenie apologising for being unable to attend."

Camilla attended an event at Crathie School, a tiny primary school on the Balmoral estate that the Royal Family are known to care for.

A local told Mr Kay: "We are used to seeing the royals out and about – they are part of the Crathie community – and frankly they could drop in at any time.

"I don’t think anyone would have been too startled if the engagement was cancelled because of the wedding."

It is widely known that she and Sarah Ferguson, Andrew's ex-wife, have never been particularly close.

Mr Kay commented: "You would have thought the two women’s shared experiences as royal outsiders might have brought them together.

"Indeed, both women were pointedly not invited to Prince Edward’s wedding to Sophie Rhys-Jones, also in Windsor, in 1999."

Meanwhile, in a post to Twitter, Clarence House shared a message about the campaign Camilla is involved in.

It read: "The Brilliant Breakfast aims to raise funds to help develop the confidence and skills of young women needed to secure jobs or start their own businesses."
