KUCHING: Caretaker deputy chief minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and his wife Datin Doreen Mayang cast their votes at Rh Mendit Unsu longhouse in Spaoh on Saturday (Dec 18) morning.
Having previously served as Betong MP since 1986, Uggah was roped in to contest the Bukit Saban state seat in the 2016 state polls.
Spaoh is located in the Betong division, about 250km from the city.
Uggah, who is seeking a second term as Bukit Saban assemblyman, is facing PKR's Mikail Mathew Abdullah and Parti Sarawak Bersatu's Andria Dundang @ Andria Gelayan.
