A WOMAN accused of beating her girlfriend's baby daughter to death called herself the "number one psycho", a court heard.

Pub bouncer Savannah Brockhill, 28, also allegedly threatened to "kneecap" anyone who looked at her lover Frankie Smith, 20, in the wrong way.

Both women are on trial over the murder of 16-month-old Star Hobson, who died after suffering "catastrophic" ‘abdominal injuries at Smith’s flat, in Keighley, West Yorkshire on September 22 last year.

Bradford Crown Court heard the "unsurvivable" blunt force trauma injury - which ripped the inferior vena cava, the largest vein in the body - could only have been caused by Brockhill or Smith immediately before her death.

A post mortem found Star had suffered breaks to her right shinbone and fractures to her skull in the weeks leading up to her death.

A jury has heard Brockhill made various Google searches, including "sickening after blunt trauma" and "what can snap an ankle" around the time when Star's injuries would have been sustained.

Brockhill, giving evidence from the witness stand, admitted videoing an exhausted Star toppling off a chair onto the floor, setting the footage to dramatic music and sending it to friends because she "found it funny".

Brockhill would also call Star a "brat", the court heard.

She also posted a menacing video and threatened violence against anyone who messaged her girlfriend Smith.

In a video, she said: "She [Smith] is with the number one psycho."

A caption on another video read: "I am a psycho when it comes to my girlfriend, and wouldn’t mind putting anyone in a chair for the rest of their life if they so much as look at her wrongly.

"Keep safe, don’t message my girlfriend."

The caption was followed by a knife and bomb emojis.

Brockhill, of Hawthorn Close, Keighley, and Smith, of Wesley Place, Halifax Road, Keighley, both deny murder and also causing or allowing Star's death.

       The trial continues.
