Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit royal life in 2020 (Image: Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's feud with the prince's royal relatives, especially Prince William, is "worse than ever", an expert has said. Since quiitting royal life in 2020, Harry, 40, and Meghan, 44, have not held back from publicly criticising the Firm, whether that be in their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, their 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, or Harry's bombshell memoir Spare in 2023.
While Harry has been less critical of his royal relatives over the past year, former royal editor Duncan Larcombe said the feud, especially between the duke and his older brotherPrince William, is still very present. He told OK!: "There’s no doubt the feud between them is worse than ever, so much has happened and there has been so much betrayal and fury.

"The longer they don’t speak, the deeper the feud will get. Their Oprah Winfrey interview was the first big blow, so to speak, because it showed that Harry and Meghan were prepared to speak about the royals, particularly Charles and William, in a way one would never expect from another family member.
“Then Harry’s book, Spare, was incredibly damaging and made William furious because of the betrayal of family secrets."

Prince Harry could 'restart conflict' with royal relatives in just one move - expert
Prince Harry has been vocal over the last year about wanting reconciliation with his royal relatives, with some of the relationships he had having fractured since he quit royal life in 2020. In May, the Duke of Sussex, 40, told the BBC in an interview that he wanted to stop arguing with his relatives and reconcile with them, especially with his father King Charles.
However, while it is Harry’s desire to make amends with his relatives, one royal expert believes that the duke could make one move that could “restart conflict”. This week, it was widely reported that the prince and his wife Meghan Markle, 44, could be looking at producing a Princess Diana documentary to be released in 2027 to mark 30 years since her tragic death in a car crash in Paris.
The documentary, which has reportedly only been discussed at this stage, could be offered to Netflix as part of the couple’s “first look” deal with the streaming giant.
However, if Harry were to do this, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams believes it could cause conflict between the duke and his royal relatives, and could “endanger” any chances of reconciliation.

Princess Kate reveals new look as she debuts incredible new hair colour
Princess Kate looked incredible on Sunday as she was spotted with her hair looking blonder than ever before. The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she debuted her new look on a car journey to Sunday service with Prince William and their three children in Scotland.
As she sat in the passenger seat of the car driven by The Prince of Wales to Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral, Kate’s hair appeared to have been lightened to a blonder tone. This was seen as the hair shone in the summer sun through the car window as it was seen cascading over her shoulder.

Princess Kate's brother shares genius way he ends argument with his wife
Princess Kate’s younger brother has shared one genius way he ends arguments with his wife. Since marrying in 2021, James Middleton and Alizée Thevenet have seemed to be besotted with one another, as well as their son Inigo, who was born in 2023.
However, like all couples - especially when they are parents - this does not mean that arguments don’t occur. While some couples exchange harsh words or go for the silent treatment, James, 38, said that instead, him and his wife opt for some exercise to clear the air.
As keen runners, the pair get their running shoes on and go for a jog when tempers flare, which seems to have worked well in their relationship so far.

Prince William 'obsessive' about his children's privacy as expert reveals true priority
Prince William has been prioritising his children’s privacy over all else over recent years, a royal expert has said. Despite being first-in-line to the throne, the Prince of Wales, 44, has made sure to keep his three children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, at the top of his priority list.
While he no doubt has more responsibility than ever before as a “King in waiting”, William has been very clear that his children and his wife Princess Kate, 44, come first. This is believed to be one of the main reasons why he has decided to keep his family living in Windsor - a place that offers them greater privacy and a more ordinary way of life.
Speaking to The Mirror, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has said William is “almost obsessive” about his children’s privacy, and “is much more a protective husband and dad than a King in waiting”.

Prince William and Princess Kate spotted as they take family day out in Scotland
Prince William and Princess Kate, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland, have been spotted out with their children this morning as they enjoy their summer holidays. The Prince of Wales, 44, was seen driving his family to attend a Sunday service at Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral in Scotland.
Princess Kate was seen sat in the passenger seat beside her husband, while their youngest children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis could be seen sitting in the back seats. While Prince George, 12, was not spotted on camera, it is believed he would also have been in the car with his parents and siblings.

Meghan Markle urged to make major Kris Jenner move after latest flops
Meghan Markle has been urged to take business advice from Kris Jenner after her own project flops this year. The Duchess of Sussex has had a busy year so far after launching a new cooking show on Netflix, titled with Love, Meghan, a new lifestyle brand, As Ever and a new podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder.
But her projects did not appear to capture consumers’ hearts. With Love, Meghan was renewed for a second series but plummeted in rankings and viewing, while her podcast show did not get renewed as the Duchess claimed she wanted to focus on her brand before launching anything new. As Ever has had four product launches so far and, apart from the last one, was criticised over its stock levels after the first three sold out in minutes.
Others have blasted the Duchess for not having an obvious niche for As Ever.

Prince George photo a 'wake-up call' for Prince Harry as 'fears were realised'
Prince Harry’s decision to step down as a senior working royal were solidified after one particular incident with Prince George, which served as a “wake up call” to the Duke, according to a royal expert. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would be quitting the Firm in January 2020, sending shockwaves across the world.
A few days earlier, Buckingham Palace had released a new photograph featuring the late Queen Elizabeth, King Charles, Prince Wiliam and a six-year-old Prince George. According to royal author Andrew Morton, following the poignant snap highlighting the monarchy’s future, the Sussex couple felt the Firm was “plotting against them”. He wrote in his book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess: “The royal couple suspected that the entire institution was conspiring against them. As they saw it, the evidence was all around them.

'Real reason' Prince William and Princess Kate want to stay in Windsor - expert
Prince William and Princess Kate are set for a busy few months ahead as they plan to leave their humble cottage home and move to an eight-bed mansion. While The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, seem to have enjoyed living in Adelaide Cottage, it is believed they now need more space, prompting the move to their next royal home Forest Lodge.
Only a short drive away, Forest Lodge is still in Windsor, a place the family have come to love. While some may question whether it makes more sense for William and Kate to move their family back to London, especially with William first-in-line to the throne, it is believed this is not on their agenda, with Forest Lodge set to be their “forever” home.
Just a short drive from London, Windsor is believed to be loved by the couple for a variety of reasons.

Expert reveals why Meghan Markle wears baggy clothes - and not ones that fit her
Meghan Markle’s fashion choices often spark a royal frenzy, but there is one recurring style that has left fans puzzled – her growing love affair with oversized silhouettes. The Duchess of Sussex is frequently seen in baggy coats, flowing dresses and relaxed tailoring rather than the form-fitting outfits she once favoured.
According to fashion insiders, this is far from a casual preference and instead a deliberate style tactic. Meghan, 44, now leans towards a Californian-inspired wardrobe of looser ensembles that project ease, comfort and a sense of modern American chic.

Prince Harry faces 'enormous dangers' if he makes Princess Diana documentary - expert
Prince Harrycould face “enormous dangers” when it comes to reconciliation with his royal relatives if he makes a Netflix documentary about Princess Diana, an expert has said. Just this week, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly considering making a documentary about Harry’s late mother as part of their new “first look” Netflix deal.
The documentary, if it goes ahead, would reportedly be released in 2027 to mark 30 years since Harry’s mother tragically died in a car crash in Paris. An industry source reportedly told The Sun: “If Harry wants to do it then Netflix will bite his hand off.”

Meghan Markle 'laughing' at Princess Charlotte is not the full story - expert
Meghan Markle’s “laughing” moment during an incident with Princess Charlotte when she was still a working royal was not what it appeared to be, a body language expert has claimed. The Duchess of Sussex married into the Royal Family in 2018, but her moves were put under the microscope long before that, when it was first announced that she was engaged to Prince Harry in 2017.
Following their marriage, royal watchers analysed her appearance during royal engagements to determine whether she was fit for the Royal Family. One of those appearances was during Trooping the Colour in 2018. Meghan appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace alongside other members of the Firm, including the Wales family with their children. Footage from the event showed Princess Charlotte seemingly taking a tumble before Princess Kate picked her up, with Meghan appearing to laugh in the background.
But according to one expert expert, they got the moment wrong.

What Queen Elizabeth really thought of Donald Trump revealed in new book
Queen Elizabeth II met Donald Trump on more than one occasion and always seemed happy in his company, despite claims she found him rude. While the controversial US President has been vocal about how much he liked the late monarch, claiming that they had a “really good relationship”, reports on what the late Queen thought of him in return have always varied.
However, in a new edition of his biography about King Charles, royal author Robert Hardman has now set the record straight. By talking to staff members who worked for the late Queen, Hardman has claimed that the two leaders got on well and had “things in common”.

Expert reveals whether Prince Andrew will live in Adelaide Cottage when William moves
Prince Andrew’s life at Royal Lodge has made headlines a number of times over the last year as calls to encourage him to relocate seem to be getting stronger and stronger. The Duke of York, 65, has lived at Royal Lodge in Windsor for over two decades, and still calls the mansion home despite no longer being a working royal.
While it is believed King Charles, Andrew’s brother, has tried to get the prince to relocate, this has so far been unsuccessful, even when the monarch cut back on security for the £30 million mansion. Although Andrew is said to have turned down a life in nearby royal residences such as Frogmore Cottage, people may wonder if the duke would move to Adelaide Cottage, a four-bed home nearby, when Prince William and Princess Kate relocate with their children within the next few months.

Prince William and Kate's love of ultra-cheap dinner that feeds all the family
The Princess of Wales likes to cook her family one particular meal that is cheap and easy to store. The royal, 43, is said to be very hands-on in the kitchen and often loves to cook for her family rather than have a chef.
During a visit to an Indian restaurant in Birmingham in 2023, Kate and William shared that they both love curry - although the future King revealed that he doesn't like much spice. Although he referred to himself as a "masala man", Kate said that she "loves spice".

Prince Harry's move that left Palace reeling at 'stitch up' - insider
Since quitting royal life in 2020, Prince Harry has made a number of decisions that have caused a rift between himself and his royal relatives. Over the last five years, the Duke of Sussex, 40, has criticised the monarchy on a number of occasions, with the most significant cases being in the 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, and in his 2023 memoir Spare.
However, since 2024 when both King Charles and Princess Kate were diagnosed with cancer, Harry seemed to have stepped back from his public criticism of the Firm until a few months ago. After losing his court appeal regarding his downgraded UK taxpayer-funded security rights in May, the duke sat down with the BBC and made a series of new claims against the Firm.
According to royal expert Robert Hardman, this caused "considerable irritation" at the Palace, with Hardman writing in The Daily Mail that the Firm were only aware of the interview "minutes before broadcast". A member of Palace staff reportedly told Hardman: "As the Duke of Sussex might say, it felt like a bit of a stitch-up."
