The pooch had pounced on one of the £260 Bose buds after his owner dropped it in the kitchen on Christmas Eve.
The dad said: “Huxley was on it in a flash. He thought it was a game. He started vibrating and gave us a quizzical look as music played from his stomach.”
An X-ray confirmed the bud nestled in Huxley’s tum.
Vets in South London extracted it on Wednesday.

The pup’s owner, who asked not to be named, said his girls Eleanor, seven, and Lyla, four, have been giving Huxley extra cuddles since the ordeal.
He added: “Huxley has cost me a fortune and I’m trying to sort the insurance. It’s a good job we love him.”
Vet Dr Maggie Doherty said: “It’s a good message to be careful about dropping things around puppies, especially Huxley.
"He’s nothing but a sound dog!”
