TOKYO -- Japan's Aaron Wolf defeated Cho Gu-ham of South Korea to win the gold medal in the men's 100-kilogram judo competition at the Tokyo Olympic Games on July 29.
The win by Wolf at the Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo marked the first time since the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games for Japan to take gold in the 100-kg class. In that year Japan's Kosei Inoue claimed the gold medal.
