Mourners gathered today for the funeral of David Knowles, the presenter and driving force behind the Telegraph’s award-winning Ukraine: The Latest podcast.

       David, 32, passed away while in Gibraltar in early September.

       The podcast, which David presented alongside colleagues Dominic Nicholls and Francis Dearnley, has been nominated for Podcast of the Year at the Society of Editors’ Media Freedom Awards.

       A naturally gifted broadcaster, David was known and cherished by a huge number of listeners all over the world for his dedication to journalism.
