GEORGE TOWN: Good news for senior citizens and the disabled community in Penang who have yet to receive their vaccination appointment despite having registered on MySejahtera.

       They can call the hotline at 04-2611330 on Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 5pm to enquire and get an appointment date.

       They can also email vaksinc19penang@moh.gov.my.

       In a post on Penang Lawan Covid-19 Facebook, the state government said it will do what it can to help expedite the vaccination process.

       As of Friday (July 16), a total of 474,665 people in Penang have received their first dose so far, with 1.1 million people registered for the vaccine.

       Some 26.85% of Penangites have since received their first dose.
