TikTok influencer and her mother on murder charge after two men died in car crash

       A TikTok influencer and her mother are among five people who have been charged with murder after two men died in a car crash.

       Police said the collision occurred near Leicester on the A46 close to the Six Hills junction at 1.35am on Friday.

       The cars involved were a silver Skoda Fabia, a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon, which were all believed to be travelling at speed.

       Leicestershire Police said the Skoda had left the carriageway and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin, 21, and Saqib Hussain, 20, who were inside it died at the scene.

       One car had crashed through the central reservation with another thought to have burst into flames.

       The three women charged were TikTok influencer Mahek Bukhari, 22, and her mother Ansreen Bukhari, 45, from Stoke-on-Trent, and Natasha Akhtar, 21, from Birmingham.

       Two men were also charged with murder. They are Raees Jamal, 21, and Rekan Karwan, 28, both from Leicester.

       All five appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

       Mahek Bukhari has more than 120,000 followers on TikTok and another 43,000 on Instagram, where she models clothes and films make-up tutorials.

       Mother is her best friend

       Many of her posts show her wearing branded clothes, including outfits by Rebellious Fashion.

       She has more than 3.2million likes and 3,750 followers on YouTube where she posts her travels and make-up tips.

       In September, she posted a video alongside her mother entitled, 'Having an elite relationship with your mother'.

       She said her mother was her best friend, sister and mother all rolled into one.

       Ansreen Bukhari is listed as the director of a Stoke-based security firm called City Security Plus.

       Ansreen and Mahek Bukhari and Akhtar were remanded in custody and will appear at Leicester Crown Court on Wednesday

       Jamal and Karwan are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and have been remanded in custody.

       A 20-year-old man, arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder, has since been released with no further action to be taken.

       Detective Chf Insp Tony Yarwood, from East Midlands special operations unit, said: 'Anyone who was travelling in the area in the early hours and has any dashcam footage, we are urging you to come forward.

       'We are working to piece together the movements of all the cars involved and any footage of them will help our investigation.'
