A man who had apparently been fatally shot was found Friday afternoon in the Aspen Hill/Norbeck area of Montgomery County, and another man was taken into custody, according to police.

       A homicide victim was found about 4:35 p.m. near Baileys Lane and Baileys Court, the police said. Officers went there after a shooting was reported, according to police.

       The man had an upper-body wound, the police said. He died at the scene, they said.

       A man in the area was taken into custody, the police said.

       They said they did not think the incident was random.

       No names were provided, and it was not clear if anyone had been charged.

       The site is a residential area between the Intercounty Connector and Georgia Avenue.
