Welsh First Minister Vaughan Gething is on the brink this morning after the top Labour politician was hit by a surprise strike of four ministerial resignations at once.
Mick Antoniw, Julie James, Lesley Griffiths and Jeremy Miles all resigned en masse this morning, with calls for the First Minister to stand down.

The move has sparked observers to predict that the end must now be close for the beleaguered and scandal-ridden First Minister, after a chaotic few months in the job.
Mr Miles, who ran against Mr Gething for the Welsh Labour leadership, called on the First Minister to resign and said “the events of the last few months including your loss of the confidence vote in the Senedd, have been incredibly painful”.
He told Mr Gething: “It’s essential that we begin to repair the damage immediately, and I have reached the conclusion very regrettably that this cannot happen under your leadership.

Mick Antoniw told Vaughan Gething “I do not believe you can continue as First Minister” as he quit as the Welsh Government’s counsel general.
Urging the First Minister to “put the country first” he said the Senedd was “rudderless” without a new leader.
Mr Antoniw said: “Wales needs confident and stable government. I do not believe you are capable of delivering that.
“You have lost a vote of confidence in the Senedd. That is something I regard as being of major constitutional importance.
“It is clear that you no longer command a majority, that you will be unable to enter into the agreements necessary to pass a budget, and for all intents and purposes the Senedd is rudderless."
Mr Gething lost a vote of confidence in the Welsh Assembly last month, but the vote was non-binding and he refused to quit.
However many predicted he would have to go in the next few months as he had little chance of passing a budget.

The Welsh Government only has 14 ministers, so the four resignations this morning are akin to one third of his ministers leaving office at once.
Reacting to the chaos, the Welsh Conservatives have this morning said: "Vaughan Gething’s time as First Minister is rightly coming to an end".
“But Labour cannot fool the people of Wales. These Ministers, like Jeremy Miles, sat in his Cabinet, they stood by his side, and they are culpable for the breakdown of governance in Wales".
They ominously warned: “Wales will remember".
Plaid Cymru said: "Vaughan Gething has led a government of chaos and put his own self-interest before the interests of the people of Wales".
“For months, the First Minister’s poor judgement, aversion to scrutiny and ‘do nothing’ approach to governing has undermined the office of First Minister and brought Welsh politics into disrepute.

“The Labour party has thrown its weight behind Vaughan Gething and Keir Starmer has acted as his main cheerleader. The Ministers who resigned today are equally culpable, they should have acted far sooner than their eleventh hour intervention when it was a case of one bad headline too many.
“The people of Wales are losing faith in Labour’s ability to govern Wales. In its attitude of ‘our way or no way’ and in its record of delivery which is increasingly found wanting – Labour is out of ideas and running out of road with the public.”
The row could prove advantageous for Reform UK, who will be hoping to take advantage of Wales' proportional representation election in two year's time and secure a swathe of seats in the Senedd.
