PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a group of people seen in a video supporting a politician in India who had insulted the Prophet Muhammad.

       Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan, in a statement on Tuesday (June 14), said that a TikTok video showed a group of people, believed to be foreigners, congregating at the Batu Caves Temple and showing support for the politician and her party.

       The investigation is being conducted by the police's special investigation unit (USJT).

       "Investigations are still being conducted and the police advise all not to speculate on the matter, which could hinder investigations," he said.
