KUALA LUMPUR: Lien Hoe Corp Bhd has announced the passing of its managing director, Datuk Yap Sing Hock, at the age of 73.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property group said executive director and CEO Christine Yap Tse Yeeng will lead the management and operations of the group, with assistance from the board and management team.

       The business and operations of the group will run as usual.

       According to the group, Yap was appointed the managing director on Jan 30, 2020.

       He started his career as a building contractor before venturing into property development in the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru.

       He had also been active in real estate investment in Hong Kong and Singapore.
