Labour has lost to Green Party co-leader Carla Denyer in a landslide Bristol Central race.
It was one of the Green Party's main target seats at this election, with the challengers claiming that "a few Green MPs" in Parliament would be of huge importance in the event of an expected Labour landslide.

In an enormous 28 point swing away from Labour, Ms Denyer took 24,539 votes to shadow culture secretary Thangham Debbonaire's 14,132.
Ms Debbonaire's vote share was down 25.9%.
In polls leading up to the General Election on July 4, Ms Debbonaire was singled out as the only Labour incumbent expected to lose her seat in a humiliating blow - after she beat Ms Denyer at the 2019 election by a huge majority of 28,219 votes.
