SHAH ALAM: No Rumah Selangorku units had been sold by owners to third parties without permission and approval from the state government as of last October, the state assembly was told.

       Selangor Housing, Urban Well-being and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Rodziah Ismail said this was based on the records of the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) for applications to transfer ownership of Selangor price-controlled properties in the same period.

       She said through the LPHS records, her team also learnt that all matters relating to the sale of Rumah Selangorku to third parties had gone through legal applications.

       She added the state government's policy stipulates that applications to transfer ownership of low-cost properties; low medium-cost or other price-controlled assets including Rumah Selangorku need to be submitted to LPHS for approval for the release of transfer conditions by the state authorities. – Bernama
