Former Tory leadership candidate Suella Braverman raked in more than £65,000 in payment and expenses for just 29 hours work on the international speaking circuit, while her husband tagged along with expenses paid trips.
The former Home Secretary got almost £20,000 for a speech in India in February and another £25,000 for giving a talk in Seoul, South Korea, in April, her declarations on the first register of MPs' financial interests of this Parliament reveal.

They were for six hours of work each, according to the register.
Mrs Braverman declared that the Ananda Bazar Patrika (ABP) media Network footed the £20,520.60 bill, including £600 for accommodation for her and husband Rael Braverman, a finance manager at Mercedes, who was born in South Africa and moved to the UK as a child.
There was no mention of him attending the second event funded by Chosun Media, another news company.

It said this was for 12 hours work, so it is not clear if this was a second speech in Seoul.
Mrs Braverman declared a £10,800 fee for a five-hour talk to 1LoD Ltd, a financial intelligence and risk control company in London.
It means she was earning more than £2,000 an hour for the engagements.
There was also £6,500 of expenses declared from the Edmund Burke Foundation for a conference in Washington.
It does not appear she was paid for the speech and there is no mention of Mr Braverman attending.
Her register said she was employed as a speaker by Singapore based Coulthwaite Group Pte Ltd, which trades as CWG Speakers.

Her profile on its website states: "Following increasingly violent protests against Israel’s response to Hamas attacks, Suella Braverman called out policing standards.
"She claimed more fashionable causes like this were indulged. Those objecting to lockdowns a few years earlier enjoyed rather different treatment.
"Braverman’s second stint as Home Secretary ended on the back of those comments. But they typify why she remains such a popular figure in the UK Conservative Party and is touted by many as a future leader.
"Supporters see her as willing to stand up for traditional conservative values. She took voters’ concerns about immigration seriously, pursuing a deal with Rwanda to quell ever-rising migration numbers.
"Braverman has also been vocal in the culture wars, believing Western values are worth defending."

Suella Braverman got free membership of this exclusive club (Image: Walbrook Club)
Mrs Braverman was considered a frontrunner for the Tory leadership before withdrawing last month saying it was because she "cannot say what people want to hear".
She also declared £14,000 in payments for 57 hours spent on writing opinion articles written for the Telegraph, for £245 an hour, and a £27,800 all expenses paid trip to Israel for the couple courtesy of the National Jewish Assembly, to show "solidarity to Israel following October the 7th attacks."
Mrs Braverman also declared that she received two tickets with hospitality to the Ashes cricket at the Oval, on July 29 2023, to a value of £1,798.
In April this year she also received a year's honorary membership to the exclusive The Walbrook Club, private members club , in the City of London.
The club is owned by Tory life peer Peter Garth Palumbo, known as Baron Palumbo.

While her income from speeches is the highest for any MP in the current register, which covers the year to August 4, it is well below the sums gained up by former prime ministers Liz Truss and Boris Johnson, who are no longer in parliament.
Truss declared earnings of £250,000 in the year after she was forced to resign, including £80,000 for just one speech in Taipei.
Mr Johnson declared an income of £4.8million in the six months after stepping down as PM in 2023, including an advanced payment of £2.5million for several speeches.
