Shelagh Fogarty took calls from listeners about Insulate Britain who blocked roads across London on Monday in their fourth week of protest. But a video from LBC went viral which showed a distraught woman pleading with the climate change protesters to allow her through to see her mother in the hospital after she was following the ambulance taking her there. One caller rang into the station and shocked listeners and said he would not move for the woman despite earlier in the show saying he would make excuses for his own family.

       Speaking on LBC, host Fogarty spoke with the caller and attempted to make the situation personal by asking whether they would move for an ambulance that had his daughter inside.

       The caller did not give a straight answer having previously said small pains were necessary to see the bigger picture.

       Ms Fogarty continued to ask whether he would allow the upset woman through to see her mother.

       He replied: "If it was me in that tunnel and that woman came up to me I probably wouldn't.

       "It's unlikely anyone would have been let past because they were glued down anyway..."

       Ms Fogarty was stunned and pointed out the caller was worried about the future of the planet for his daughter earlier in their conversation but seemed content with allowing some people to die in an ambulance.

       The confused caller believed there were two separate incidents before clarifying he would let the ambulance through.

       He added blocking the emergency services was not right and explaineD: "I would let the ambulance through I really would, I thought there were two separate cases.

       "I thought one was the ambulance and the other was a woman pleading with the protester."

       He concluded and said the ambulance should go but everyone else should not be allowed.

       Ms Fogarty cut off the caller and said: "Gosh, blimey, ok, but if the daughter doesn't get to see her mother again so be it..."

       In the video shared by LBC, the woman can be heard screaming: “My mother is in hospital! I need to get to her now!

       “She is in the ambulance now! Do you think I am stupid?!”

       The tear-jerking scenes take a turn for the worse as the protesters then outright refuse to move out the way of the broken driver as they insist the protest is more important.

       She screams: “Please move! Please!

       “This isn’t ok! Move and hurry please!”

       The woman can be heard utterly distraught as she cries “how can you be so selfish?” as the protesters stand by watching her in distress.
