A BRITISH tourist has died from a heart attack at a ski resort in the French Alps.
The 63-year-old man complained of feeling ill before collapsing in the popular resort of La Plagne in the valley of the Tarentaise.

A police spokesman told The Sun: "The 63-year-old complained of feeling ill, and then collapsed.
"Emergency workers were at the scene extremely quickly, but the man could not be revived.
"He was declared dead by the Modane mountain aid station."
Police and rescue teams are also searching for a 30-year-old woman who vanished in La Plagne on Sunday.

She went for a run in the morning and didn't return as planned, La Dauphiné reports.
The woman was part of a group helping visually impaired people and didn't not show up to a scheduled meeting.
Cops were called in and search and rescue teams have been combing the area.
It's not yet known if the missing woman is British.

It comes after a British pensioner was seriously injured after plunging 30ft from a cliff in Spain.
The 80-year-old man is said to have suffered multiple injuries - including head injuries - after falling near the Costa Blanca town of Moraira.
An air ambulance flew him to Alicante’s Doctor Balmis Hospital after he was stabilised at the scene.
The alarm was raised just before 2pm on Sunday in the small village of Murla - a 30 minute drive inland from Moraira.
Pictures showed rescuers surrounding the injured pensioner on the side of a cliff.
It was not immediately clear if the injured man had been with anyone else at the time.
