YONG PENG: Choose a political party that is capable of bringing rapid development to Johor, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

       The MCA president was in Senai on his last stop in Johor to campaign for MCA candidates contesting the Johor state election.

       Dr Wee, who is also Transport Minister, said this during a visit to Senai, where the Senai International Airport is located.

       Prior to that, he also visited several other places – Skudai, Stulang, Pekan Nanas, Perling, Johor Jaya and Puteri Wangsa to cheer on the candidates.

       He said the candidates show a mix of budding and experienced leaders with good track records and a willingness to serve, and with this, a Barisan Nasional victory would pave the way for a better future for the people and businesses in Johor.

       "Barisan has proven its capability in the administration and management of the state when it managed to attract the highest investment during its time.

       "Unfortunately, the economy in the state of Johor plummeted under the rule of Pakatan Harapan.

       "So, let's give our mandate to Barisan candidates in this state election. Let's do this for Johor's future and stability," he said.
