JOHOR BARU: Pontian MCA division chief Datuk Tee Siew Kiong will remain faithful to the party despite feeling disappointed for not being named as a candidate for the Johor state election.
Tee, who w also advisor to Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohamad, said that he would also continue to support Barisan Nasional candidates.
"I am still with the party. I will support Barisan's candidates, especially those contesting in seats under the Pontian area," he said in a press conference at Johor Digital Economic Centre here on Friday (Feb 25).
He also thanked his supporters for the concern and support they have given him all this while.
Tee was Pulai Sebatang assemblyman for three terms from 2004 until 2018.
In GE14, he lost the seat to Muhammad Taqiuddin Cheman from Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) who got a 3,395 majority.
