JOHOR BARU: Barisan Nasional has launched its Johor election manifesto, which has 43 initiatives under five key areas.
Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad, who is also the state Barisan and Umno chairman, said the highlights include creating 100,000 jobs in modern farming, the digital economy and the creative economy.
“There are also a lot of goodies for Felda settlers and youth including RM500 aid per year for undergraduates coming from B40 families.
“These initiatives will bring political stability in the state where Barisan would continue with giving equal allocation of RM200,000 to all assemblymen and if we win two-thirds majority, we would carry out redelineation,” he added.
Hasni said this in his speech during the launch of the manifesto at state Umno headquarters here on Tuesday (March 1).
March 12 has been fixed for polling day, with early voting on March 8.
