CM Bugti briefed the meeting on the current law and order situation, strategies of security for-ces and the implementation status of the provincial action plan.
Mr Naqvi, the interior minister, said the government was committed to eradicating terrorism. He emphasised that “Indian-sponsored terrorists” and their facilitators would find no place to hide in Pakistan and be brought to justice at all costs. “Those challenging the writ of the state will be dealt with an iron hand,” the minister said, adding that that there was complete coordination between the federal and provincial governments in this regard.
Action against terrorists had been accelerated, CM Bugti said, urging the nation to support the steps aimed at achieving peace. He said the sacrifices of security personnel and civilians would not go in vain as the government would restore peace at all costs.
